A gourmet torrija for this Easter

๐ŸŒŸ Transform your Easter with a gourmet twist on the traditional torrija created by chef Fran Lรณpez from Villa Retiro that will leave your guests wanting more.


- Ingredients:
๐Ÿ”น Brioche bread to taste
๐Ÿ”น 100g of milk
๐Ÿ”น 10g of cocoa powder
๐Ÿ”น 1 fresh egg
๐Ÿ”น 25g of sugar
๐Ÿ”น Stracciatella ice cream to top


โ€“ Step by step:
๐Ÿ”น Preparation: Beat the egg and mix it with the milk, cocoa and sugar.
๐Ÿ”น Soaking: Cut the brioche bread into rectangles and soak them in the mixture for 4-5 hours so that they soak well.
๐Ÿ”น Drying: Remove the soaked bread and dry it with absorbent paper.
๐Ÿ”น Cooking: Coat the bread in sugar and cook it in a pan with butter until golden on all sides.
๐Ÿ”น Presentation: serve your torrija with a generous scoop of stracciatella ice cream.
